I started this year in Madagascar exploring a totally new place. We had a number of shared trips, from the SF Bay Area to visit friends; to backpacking in Colorado; and trekking on Isle Royale; and a few trips to Boston to see family. For work, I traveled both to DC and San Diego. Friends and family joined us in Chicago throughout the year. We explored more of the midwest, both near Chicago and further away. We had plenty of amazing meals, celebrating some special moments.
As the year comes to an end, I’m taking a moment to pause and enjoy some warm tea while it snows outside my window. And I’m looking forward to the new year and all it has to bring.
